KAY (KANAKO TOKORO)
Born in Kariya, Aichi. Started playing electric tones at the age of four, playing piano, trombone and clarinet instruments. Entered brass band club, when I was in elementally and junior high school. Then I entered Hikarigaoka girls high school because they were famous for brass band club, and participated in the national competition. At the same time, I was in international education course, so interest in overseas is growing.
I changed my direction from music to design, and entered Nagoya University of the Arts. While studying in University, study abroad in the Philippines for six months, study English, and then exchange for three months at the Brighton University Graphic and Illustration Course. Traveled to 11 countries so far.
愛知県刈谷市出身。４歳からエレクトーンを始め、ピアノ、トロンボーン、クラリネットを演奏。小中と吹奏楽部に入り、高校は吹奏楽の強豪である光ヶ丘女子高校に進学、全国大会に出場。同時に、国際教養学部であることから、海外への関心が高まる。
音楽の道から方向転換し、名古屋芸術大学のデザイン学部へ進学。在学中、フィリピンへ半年留学し英語を学んだ後、英国ブライトン大学グラフィック＆イラストコースへ３ヶ月間交換留学をする。これまでに11カ国を旅する。
